How old does a male puppy have to be to look for a female in heat?
I have two yorkies puppy of 9 months of a female and male 6 months. She has just come hot, it doesn 't seem interested in it, which is good. I plan criarla in 24 months, not now. Is he also is interested in pet her, he seems to ignore other dogs while she is rubbing on it, does that means he is the dog who is interested. If I separated. I am neutralizing, but scheduled later in the month.

Separate them. Male dogs are sexually developed between 6 months and i think 9 i can’t remember the last one. and you don’t want to take the chance. I would separarte them. If she is breed now she will be more prone to ariritis and other bone related problems shes still a puppy. Yorkies are so cute

I think around 6 months I would worry to much unless they fight alot if they dont fit let them be but make sure one is spayed or ones nutered so you wont have to worry about babies unless you want them !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think you’re male is just about ready. I would be very, very careful because your female is too young and needs to wait.

Just from what Ive heard if the male is lifting his leg , he can breed.
