How many Different Puppy shots should be administered?

I have a puppy 12 weeks old and he just had its 4th round of shots and is soon due for its 5th Parva, crown, etc. I'm wondering how many more rounds of shots needed him. I read somewhere that all of these shots weren 't good for dogs that soooo does anyone know anything about this?

   They are needed unless you want your puppy to get sick and die

   Whatever your vet is telling you to do, that should be right. If you still don’t feel that so many are necessary, then get a second opinion from another vet. The shots ARE necessary to prevent illness, and disease, but if you feel that he has gotten more than necessary, please consult another vet.
